Where does radon come from?

Radon comes from the rocks and soil that make up the ground on which we live. When the uranium in the rocks and soil breaks apart, which happens naturally, one of the things created is radon gas. This gas then becomes part of the air we breathe.     Image of a house and the ground below. Beneath the surface is the word radon.
